When Sonia asked if we would shoot her wedding in Pioneertown I literally had to control my excitement so I wouldn't embarrass myself ("yesss please!! eek! pick me!! pick me!!). We kinda love Pioneertown. And to top it off, the reception was at Pappy and Harriets. WHAT?! PICK ME!!
My only concern was that it was going to be like 115 degrees that day, but the weather turned out to be perfect - hovering around 90 during the day and perfectly cool and breezy at night. The wedding party stayed at the amazing Rimrock Ranch and the ceremony was held at the Pioneertown Church on Mane Street. Like I mentioned, the reception was at Pappy and Harriets - a great local bar, restaurant and venue (Justin and I saw Gillian Welch play there last year!). And because the groom, Dan, is a musician by trade (playing with bands like Music Go Music, Beachwood Sparks, and many others) the reception was a mega jam session with appearances by various artists. Thanks for the great time Sonia and Dan, congrats!
