{a quick stop to say "hello..."}
This summer has been filled with camping trips (in the beginning of the summer, more to come in later summer), birthday parties, weddings, trips to the beach, an oppressive heat wave, and the flu... just to sum it up. (Yes, the flu... in the summer... and it lasted two weeks... and we completely missed Justin's birthday because of it. And Lord knows, he likes to celebrate his birthday.)
This weekend starts another busy season - three weekends gone in a row. This weekend we head to Pioneertown and Pappy & Harriets to shoot a wedding (dream come true?!). Then we have a couple weekends of camping trips after that.
For now, we are trying to bask in this break from the heat wave. We visited Eaton Canyon for the first time in... a long time. We were avoiding the outdoors when temps were 100+ ... which really weighs on us, we love being outside. Here's to hoping the temps stay reasonable (can I hope this for Pioneertown too???).
