Central Coast
After a rough month in July with illnesses we've been on a whirlwind of weekend trips. For Labor Day weekend we went up the coast to camp at San Simeon Campground on a cool, blue moon night. Last time we camped there was for our 2 year anniversary, I can't believe it had been that long. JW was a champ while we dragged him around from place to place: San Simeon to Hearst Beach, to Morro Bay, to San Luis Obispo to Avila Beach to Pismo Beach... phew. There's too much beauty in that area. They should consider sharing. At least share the weather, it's too damn hot here.

I've always loved your trip posts. It's actually one of the things that inspired me to start doing my own trip reports of sorts.
I love how long Justin's hair is. My Explorer can grow a fierce mountain man beard, but not a lick of hair on his head.
I'm horrible at commenting on blogs, but yours is definitely one of my favorites. I always hope there's a post here or at Papa's Poncho whenever I check my news feed.

one thing i really miss about living in LA is trips to the central coast.
cheech only uses her chupón (mimi) at night, but i really don't plan on even trying to take it away until i can reason with her. at what age does that happen? 25?

@Celia ... We've cut back to naps and bedtime, but he still asks for it alllllll dddaaaaay looong. And it's f-ed up his teeth already. Part of me wants to let him keep till he's ... 25. Why not!
Such a pretty place! And I love camping! Hopefully summer is coming fast to Australia so we can pack up the car and go camping as well!!

I am going to be headed out that way soon! I don't think we are getting any camping in but it should be a beautiful trip anyways, that part of California never seems to disappoint.
