I painted this when I was 6 years old... with a little help from my talented grandma. Back then I wanted to be an artist; I wanted to draw and paint; I wanted to be like my grandma. That path never worked out for me, I think either you got it, or you don't. And... I don't. But I've found other things I'm decent at and that I love ... those things I will do.

Dear Amanda. To me it's an artwork. It's beautiful and it has feeling. and that's what "art" means.
I think it would be an amazing idea to make a real postcard from this.

oh this absolutely warms my heart, i love it!
I love it!! Totally makes me want to go skiing and playing in the snow, excited to play, and excited for the warm drinks and fireplace waiting in the little house...

Your aesthetic may be much more sophisticated, but it's still this warm and down to earth-- now we know where it came from.
