We are enjoying our time in baby land and making plans about assimilating back into the "real world" soon. I try to remind myself: there is no hurry. Babies are only this tiny for such a little time... so here we are baby! Let's soak it in!

don't rush, enjoy it. Remember you are on the baby-train and everyone will be there when you decide to make a stop along the way, but this little guy won't be tiny forever- so just soak it in.

Definitely don't rush to go back into the world. They are that little for such a short amount of time and you need to soak up each second.
Exactly! You are wise to realize that time is fleeting..babies grow up too fast. Mine are 3 and almost 5 and I am shocked because it seems like just yesterday I was looking at little newborns.. Soak it in and enjoy every second even those sleep deprived ones, too. ;-)

Give thanks for the chance to be able to stay home with your babe. This is the nesting period...make it last as long as possible. People say nesting happens before baby..this is true to some extent but what baby needs now is that nest to snuggle in to and learn about the world that he is in from a safe, comfortable spot.

Wow! What an accomplishment. Your baby is adorable- and take it lightly that he is, because really new babies are sometimes kind of weird-looking. But your baby Jackson is perfect!
