Chantry

Last weekend we went to Chantry for a little hike and BBQ with some friends, and I was freezing. Ok, it was probably only in the 40s, but to me, it was FREEZING.
It was beautiful, damp, cold and it smelled so good. It smelled like the Pacific Northwest, like hiking in Washington when I was younger.
I tend to avoid hiking in this weather, but I forget how different and beautiful it could be.

And here is a video to get you through the day. I love Sigur Ros. I was going to share the video for Gobbledigook, but thought the nudity might be too much for some. This one is just right, simple and beautiful.... and sad.

Coming soon: some photos of our new place, and ... a little something else.

Wow! That video is intense! Great imagery.
How do you get your photos to look so 70's-esque? Besides the people, I know....
toe head kids with puffer jackets,
light shining through poncho, just so..
beiges and rust with sage covered backdrop...ahhh California circa 2010.

Hi, following your blog...beautiful! Your photography is stunning. I'm learning about photography. What kind of camera/lens do you like to use? I'll be back to visit and I've added your blog to my favorites.
